I agree. Not to belabor the point, but another indication that the crowd was down, was that it took me about 15 minutes to get out of the stadium. That's from the end of the game sitting in my seat, walking to my car, parked at Fairgrounds Field and being on Hearne Ave headed back to my mom's house. I've been to at least 30 I-Bowls, quickest I've ever gotten out of that place. Still a good showing from us, but the local crowd not really showing up (and those that did, leaving by halftime) and having a team (NIU) not bring fans hurt the I-Bowl and possibly, it's future. We'll see. Now, on to Auburn!
