LA Tech to open at North Carolina State in 2013 season

Shreveport Times is reporting that we have agreed to open at North Carolina State next year. According to article the Houston game is still on the schedule.

So, LA Tech won't play in Ruston until October? WOW! I don't like that at all. I don't have a problem with any of these opponents. They are all good. But opening the 2013 season with 4 consecutive games out of state is suicide.

Good question. Good catch. I guess that's the weekend we'll play Lamar at home.

I'm currently looking at NCSU for Grad School. If I go there, it'd be great to go to my first game as a student there in Tech Blue!

Jimmy Watson did good to get this story, but he quit working when BVDV said he couldn't yet comment. If J.W. should have called Houston to visit with the Houston or Rice AD to find out what was "not" happening with the Houston game.

We'll be playing an FCS team in Ruston that weekend. Probably Lamar. We might also play a CUSA game on one of those dates.

When will the CUSA schedule come out

Why are we whoring out the team again? I know we can play them and possibly beat them, but still. This is stupid. I hope BDVD got a home game out of this.

How well attended do you think a game in Ruston or Shreveport would be vs. NCState?

You do realize we only had one money game for next year? We have a WBB program to support.:icon_wink:

The TV schedule for this year was announced June 14, 2012.
