Absolutely not! Energizes fan base and we tend to dominate-- without us kicking their butts they can crow about being better than us-- lot of folks felt they had passed us -- put that to rest. Energy of fan base off charts before we play them.easy 3 hr drive every other year. No to northeast, yes to southwestern

I really don't get the aversion to playing ULL. In fact, I think LSU should play us every year (instead of NMSU or North Texas or whoever). Keep the money in the state, fans are interested, let the best team win....

Isn't that the point of a home and home? So we get a home game too? It's not like we've played them 5 years in a row. I don't see why everyone should be thrilled with us playing Southern and upset with ULL...

. They will never play us in Ruston or Shreveport. Now taking the money seems ok but.....NT is part of conference and easy game to go to every other yr Dallas

I was implying that LSU doesn't play us consistently for similar reasons that some fans don't want to play ULL.

Exactly! Time to play up. Nobody wants to watch Southern and ULL at home. I guess nobody remembers the praise going around for cutting out the whoring out of the team on the road and the playing crap teams at home.

You sure about that?

For the memory challenged ( me at top of list) -- we played 4 CUSA teams at home this year- 3 went to bowl games (2-1). Hopefully the CUSA relationship will develop over yrs into great rivalries. Still dOn't expect their fan base to come to Ruston . I can not think of any team more likely to have great crowd in Ruston more than southwestern Cajuns --

As long as we spank their ass 48-20 or more, play them every year. Send them back to FCS with nlulmnop.
