Football. @LATechFB Adds 2019 Game at Texas - latechsports.com

Isabella is reporting that Tech has signed a deal to play the 2019 season opener at UT Austin. Also seeing on the Twitterverse that we will get $1.1MM for it. Looks like a one-time deal with no return game.

Fbs schedules.com show a game with Northwestern in 2017 and at Clemson in 2021. Has there been any info put out on these games?

Clemson will also have a $1.1MM payout, and we're paying NSU $275M to come to Ruston.

Clemson will be in 2022. We are also supposed to play Baylor that year.

And Miss St, IIRC.

NSU in 2017? We already have Miss St and So. Alabama scheduled for home dates that year.

Either 2017 is going to feature seven home games, or MooSt has already backed out.

Or it will feature 8 home games when we start that home-and-home with Notre Dame (or Eastern Michigan or SMU or NLU or whomever).

2 for 1 with Baylor? Need more info on how much we get, when, etc.. 2 for 1s are usually not a good deal. If anybody knows of one, give me an example.

But it's not *really* a 2-1 its *really* a 1-1-1. Which is the same as a 2-1. Ok never mind.

The UT game is a great addition. Bowling Green, NSU & USA suck! Why would we go on the road to play BGSU & USA? Stupid. If we are going on the road, let's do home & away with UH (Houston), BYU, SMU.
