Can't help but feel sad watching Dixon limp around. We ran the guy straight into the ground. He has a lot of carries and catches on those legs, and it's showing.

Ain't a limp, it's a pimp walk
Dude's thighs are made of iron. They probably get heavy.
He was limping when he walked on campus.
Dixon built the hospital he was born in; while limping.
Was it you Dixonfor6 who had said somewhere in another thread you didn't see what was so special about Blake Martin or something like that?
If it was: Had Blake Martin been in instead of Dixon today I bet he would have had over 200 yards rushing and scored at least twice as many touchdowns as Dixon.
If it wasn't you who said it: strike that last remark and replace it with, I thought Dixon looked good today I'm glad he was back. I was happy to see Blake Martin carry the ball some in the 4th quarter too.
Tom Benson decided to hold the New Orleans Saints Training Camp at Louisiana Tech in 1985 after he bought the team. I was in graduate school and was selected to run the housing part of the camp since I was working for the Housing Department at the time. The team was housed in Neilson Residence Hall. One thing I remember is how broken down Earl Campbell was by then. Instead of sleeping in a bed, he slept on a mat he put on the floor in his room because it was better for his back (I believe it was). 1985 was the last year he played.
I started this thread mostly as a concern for Kenneth's NFL career. He is a beaten down back with no help
KD is a great player. Part of what makes him GREAT, instead of just "very good," is his warrior mentality. So, yeah....he's taken a beaten in 4 years. His best season, in terms of stats, was his freshman season. He's actually a better player today than he was back then. Difference is he was still 100% unbeaten-up back then.
The NFL is another level of violence. KD has to find a way to make it work and stay healthy, or NFL will mean "Not For Long" for him, for sure.
No he's not. He has a high ankle sprain. Ever had one of those? I have not, but I know of players who have missed many more than 3 games because of them.
If he is going to play in the NFL he needs to hold on to the ball and hit holes instead of side stepping every time.
He has given everything he has; everytime he steps on the field. Dude looks like he may never walk without a limp again.
Dixon should be elected into the Tech Hall of Fame, next year!
