NLULM wants to avoid six home games in 2019

We should put UNM (not NMSU) on our OOC home schedule for 2019. And yes, I'm serious.

I would love a MWC matchup every few years.

My buddy that's a music major sent me that email. It's got to be hard to recruit to a program that doesn't even try to hide the fact that they're just a rent a win to prop up the rest of their athletic programs.

All the proof anyone needs to make ulm drop back to I-AA (FCS) at the very least, and drop football altogether really.

WOW!! What an email. ULM just needs to go back down to FCS.

Why throw stones at ULM when we successfully avoided 6 home games this year. 5 home games is pathetic ESPECIALLY considering who the opponent was for our one OOC game.

Like I've said for a long time - it's in our best interest for them to stay FBS in football - it only furthers the separation because they will literally BLEED themselves to death to stay in sight of us....

Maybe it is time to approach ULM with a one and done in Ruston. We could pay them better than UNM, Their fans who want to could easily come to the game and their travel costs would be minimal. Even a 2 for 1 would be ok.

That works too.

I have done a bit of a pivot on the nlulm discussion. I think it would be okay to throw them into the rotation with all the other Louisiana schools that we play. The FCS schools, excluding GSU, and the ULX twins should visit Ruston every 6 years or so without a return game. We provide each of them with a reasonable payday and little to no travel costs. We pay them less than what we would pay for teams outside the state because we should.
