So WKU, despite officially wanting the Boca Raton bowl for recruiting, doesn't get it.
And we, despite (and despite lack of offical commentary about...anything) wanting the HoD for recruiting, don't get it.
I still think any prediction outside the big boy bowls is picking names out of a hat, but we'll see.
WKU will go to Boca Raton.
And, they have Army vs. UNT in the HOD, but this would be a rematch from this year, UNT beat Army 35-18.
Actually, everyone in CUSA, except us, beats the daylights out of the service academies. :icon_roll:
We'll know for sure very shortly. No need for anymore speculation.
Latest ESPN bowl projections have La Tech in Boca Raton, WKU in Fort Worth. I'm told the opposite is true. Tops will be in Boca.
The above was per the WKU beat writer on twitter this morning.
As runner up do we get next pick?
What time is the official announcement?
Skip presser tonight at 6:30 to comment on whomever picks Tech to play in their bowl.
I expect us to be in Dallas.
Everybody seems to want Dallas. Why not Ft. Worth?
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl

Schlabach: Navy vs. Western Kentucky
McMurphy: Navy vs. Western Kentucky
Not if it's Navy! In case you haven't been paying attention in recent years we are 0-fer vs. the service academies. Navy will crush our pathetic defense to the tune of 500 yds rushing, time of possession, and they will score 50+. Our offense, even if it's clicking, won't have enough possessions to keep pace.
