Hotlz needs Leon Barmore/Joe R Peace Transfusion

Hotlz needs some serious help from some proven past coaches who knew how to motivate their players and get the most from them. These were men who had a serious fire in their gut about their teams playing hard and winning. They ignited their players’ passions to overachieve and win no matter what.

Barmore and Peace couldn’t contain themselves in competition and it was contagious within their teams.

I’m extremely concerned that Holtz’s lack of passion to win and his passive acceptance of defeat is proving to be contagious to his team. As evidence the team’s supposed leader, the QB was hanging is head almost the whole game. Any coach with a concept of team would’ve sat him. Hotlz did nothing, meaning he didn’t lead either.

Sadly, I don’t think this team has heart and I don’t think Holtz can fix it.
