It ALWAYS seems opposing teams just get back a star when they play us. Doesn't matter the sport either. Happens across the board.

Best I have seen the Techsters play in the last 10 years (for the first 3 quarters, anyway). Great team effort, but Anthony is lightning in a bottle this year. She finished with 35 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and I forgot how many assists. She is truly playing her best ball of her career this year!

Ole Miss is not fantastic, I think. But a name's a name, and 2-0 vs the SEC is not anything to scoff at.
I had us down to win this 44%, so I'll consider that an upset anyway!
They had been struggling due to their PG being out with an injury. She was back for this game. They looked pretty good today - we just looked much better. After the first half, it could have gone either way. We were playing with some passion, though!Quote:

(The two "no shows" were against Little Rock and Ariz St.) Now they move into conference play with a 7-3 record. I think we were only 3 of 18 on three point attempts, had some chances to really put it away. Freshman Alexander looked really good rebounding. Guinto's emergence has really helped us. Good energy from the fans and the Techsters. It was FUN today.
I agree. We have 3 non-conference games before conference play begins. This team is getting better. We need continued improvement on defensive end, but very nice to see individual improvement.Quote:
