5 Saints players among PFF's Top 50 for 2019 season

Pro Football Focus recently completed its ranking of the top 50 NFL players of the 2019 season, and the New Orleans Saints were a popular pick. Five different players made the list, which was updated in installments over the course of the past week.
Here’s where each of the Saints selections ranked:

No. 45. Ryan Ramczyk, right tackle

No. 36. Alvin Kamara, running back

No. 16. Cameron Jordan, defensive end

No. 12. Michael Thomas, wide receiver

No. 5. Drew Brees, quarterback

These rankings mostly refer to what each player accomplished last season, but there’s some projection involved due to changes in personnel or coaching that have taken place this offseason. Brees is still seen as one of the league’s best players, trailing only Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald in the NFL’s top tier.
Were any Saints players snubbed from the list? It’s tough to buy that there’s five cornerbacks better than Marshon Lattimore, based off his level of play down the stretch last year. He’s used oversights like this as motivation in the past, and it won’t be surprising in the least if 2017’s Defensive Rookie of the Year starts the next season with a bang.
