CBS/Palm projects us in...

Palm projects us in the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa against Cincinnati. Yikes. For selfish reasons, I wish we were in the New Orleans Bowl, because then I could attend. Palm is assuming Cincy would lose to Memphis in the AAC championship. But that's a recent rematch, and I'd think Cincy would have the advantage there.

I would take Gssparilla or New Orleans selfishly.

I assume we are playing in Shreveport this year or am I incorrect?

I wonder how many of our fans would choose to watch a Shreveport game on TV. It won't matter. Our AD will do what he is told to do.

I think the present interest level is low for any bowl regardless of location. I can’t imagine getting too excited about a sunbelt match up in NOLA

...or an ACC match up to help the Tech haters in S'Port.

I guarantee our AD has already made the call. We'll be in S'Port vs. ACC

I prefer climate control in late December but my family is planning to go wherever this year (even Tampa).

Shreveport would be great for us if it’s the day after Christmas.

Shreveport vs. ACC would be great. Or New Orleans against a ranked Sunbelt would be a great game too. Either would be fun to take the streak to 6!

Indy bowl is a dump and not a reward for players, coaches, or fans. I'd much rather play in Superdome vs top 25 App State than anyone in Shreveport. Armed Forces bowl at TCU was also a fantastic event and venue. Once the options get a little clearer I am sure there will be better options than Shreveport the day after Christmas.

Anywhere is a better reward for the players than Shreveport, Because the bowl would appreciate our team.
