Bulldogs win 80-49. Yes, USM is bad, but this game matches our road conference win total for the last two seasons. Good way to start conference play. UTEP's starting PG just transferred out and WKU is extremely short on depth with Bassey's injury and the P5 PG transfer denied his waiver. We had zero inactive tonight and appear to actually have all 13 scholarship players available. Zero excuses if Konkol can't get it done this season.
Maybe, just maybe, this is the year we'll break the drought.
