WE Lost a Great One Last Night - John Agan
John passed away last night after a lengthy illness.
He was a great local historian for Minden, Webster and North La in general who knew where most of the skeletons were buried.
He was a true Bulldog
RIP John you are in a much better place and will be greatly missed

We also lost Dr. Deas Sunday afternoon, a stalwart Tech supporter and at his passing the oldest living Tech football letterman...

My understanding is that Dr Deas, who lived in Homer, was 104 years old when he passed. WOW! A lot of LA Tech athletic history died with that man.

Dr. Deas was a great man! I always enjoyed visiting with him whenever the occasion rose. Perhaps his biggest accomplishment may have been being the deliver doctor for one DFiH…. That's how old he was!!! ;)
