As you might can deduce by looking at my name, I'm a drummer/percussionist. I have been for going on 24 years now. I never had any experience with any other instrument type. That all changed recently when my step-dad, who is a luthier by hobby, made me a guitar.
I'm only a month in, and I am hooked. Picked up "Guitar for Dummies" and have been playing every night. Already got some good calluses. haha
Any other guitar players out there?
Pics aren't coming through on my end. I'd love to see it. I play a lot around the house. Not as much as I used to. I find sitting down with my acoustic one of the most effective ways to wind down after a tough day of work. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

I could play single notes on a guitar, but not any chords. My hands could never work for that.

I have a guitar or two laying around, I occasionally even have a chance to even play one of them. Still no luck with the pictures coming through for me though. It sounds like you have a great first guitar!
