The Cadillac Bar in Houston...in town, not particularly convenient for most, foods OK, dark and dingy, not a big venue. Who are they asking when planning this stuff?

But to be fair, everything in Houston "is dark and dingy" and kinda sucks, Right, CARTEK? ;)
Re: Guice, Wood m, Cumbie Tour
Pretty important to get the word out in W. Monroe/Monroe and the local region. Not going to get back to near 20K attendance by ignoring local Tech attendees and graduates.
Not having a date/location to be talked up is really bad. Might as well have it at Johnny's Pizza in Sterlington.:icon_roll:
Re: Guice, Wood & Cumbie Tour
Missing NOLA & Lafayette stops. Maybe even Alexandria & Lake Charles. I'd hit every town. Lunch in Lunch in NOLA on BR day. Hit LC/Lafayette same day.
Re: Guice, Wood & Cumbie Tour
On a Monday at noon in Dallas, you are going to lose a lot of people that would like to have attended. Middle of a work day limits the crowd.

I agree. That's why it hurts to have the LA Tech's leadership cancel a home game against Baylor. They see the actions you take, before they hear what you say to them.

You and others keep assuming Baylor would not have cancelled the game. The Baylor series was a horrible deal and three solid Ls for us.

No, you're just SPECULATING that Baylor would have cancelled the game, and you have ZERO hard evidence to support your speculation. Furthermore, as for the 3 "solid "L's", that's simply MORE unsupported SPECULATION. But your negative speculation demonstrates the real difference between LA Tech fans like you, and Ragin Cajun fans who would jump at the opportunity to host a Big XII team like Baylor at home, might even come out with a win. I've never seen a Cajun fan say on a message board what you just said.

I'm sorry, I forgot about all the regular season game our former coach won against P5 teams. LaLaff has won how many regular season games against P5s?
Re: Guice, Wood & Cumbie Tour
With Skip in charge it would have been 3 L’s. There is a history of P5’s buying out the return game of 2 for 1’s with G5 teams. Not necessarily with us but it is out there.
Baylor seems Like they have honored their deals in the past. It would have been similar attendance as Miss State, so a good gate, and good PR up until the final score.
If the new AD and/or coach didn’t want this game or think it’s better then they make the decisions and we will see how it goes. I would not want to have to live with any decisions TMac made.

ULL has 3 regular season wins vs P5 teams since 2000
We have 6 regular season wins in that time frame.
