RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech is on the road for a conference series with Marshall over the weekend. Instead of playing game three on Sunday the two schools will play game one Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT. Saturday will be a doubleheader beginning at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT with the second game following 30 minutes after.

Corona grand slam has Tech up 4-0.
Marshall starter threw over 40 pitches in top of 1st
Marshall 2-run homer in the bottom of the first.

Burchfield solo homer in the top of the 3rd makes it 5-2 Tech.
Gibson allows another 2-run homer to make it 5-4 Tech after 3.
Young drives in a run on a fielder's choice in the 4th. Tech 6-4 bottom 4th.
Netterville solo shot over the scoreboard makes it 7-4 Tech to start the 5th. Tech has 3 home runs and 2 doubles for its 5 hits so far.
