A bit of an understatement to say we will miss him.

Wouldn’t it be something for Young to return to Tech someday once his pro hall of fame career is over to coach the Dawgs 🤞🏻😊

This may sound cliché but what else can you say about TY that hasn’t already been said…
He is a generational talent in every sense of the word…

We may never live to see a player of his caliber again in Ruston, especially now that the big schools can lure them with NIL deals.

I don't think we'll see much of that in baseball. If money is the draw for a baseball player (especially a pitcher) they are already either signing with the MLB or going to a P5 anyway. Taylor got in under the radar because he was undersized. Most baseball peeps in the region knew about him and that he was a special player coming out of high school.

Bull$hitski!
Young did so well cuz he grew up in West Monroe. :D
Just like the Pearson family crew.
Just like this year's state champion led by six sophomores, two who are already SEC comitees.
Imagine two top pitchers (sophomores) throwing to a sophomore catcher.

Get back to me when those sophomores get to be seniors. The early “commit” thing in high school is very rarely followed up on. The Pearsons are my prime example …nothing to do with NIL…The other SEC commit is even further proof that NIL had nothing to do with his “commitment”

I dunno. By the time they become seniors they may be beat out by lowerclassmen. Some nice talent coming up in the mill town.

Yep Young wanted LSU, but LSU didn't want him. Worked out very well for TY and Tech in the end.
