If "the project" goes through, the WAC is probably just as strong as the MWC. Possibly outlives it (hopefully we'd still have found our way to CUSA, but maybe a better one - who knows what butterfly effects would have happened).

I did notice though, that even in their piece about how "one little line" about them getting screwed, they included "one little line" about BYU screwing over the original WAC (without telling that whole story or taking ownership).

Realignment is quite the soap opera.
