So sorry to hear this. Yes, Ms. Flo was the best, a true rock-star at Tech. I remember her marks-a-lot on poster board postings of the Lady Techsters climbing in the national AP rankings. All handwritten and dutifully posted at Memorial Gym on gamedays. A real treasure she was. Thoughts and prayers to her family.
Selfishly, I hated it when she retired, such a pleasure to deal with. I'm guessing we will never see the likes of her again.
Very sorry to hear about this. Flo went out of her way to help me on numerous occasions.
She was my future schedule source in the old days.
She was a fine person with people skills second to none.
I will miss this Lady. She was the Best.
A Louisiana Tech icon (who knew where everyone sat . . . from memory).
A Tech-long friend during my life.
And she would take it upon herself to call when seats came open around us in case we needed more. Can we have a statue erected for her outside the TAC? The caption should read….
“The one and only Mrs. Flo! She was proactive before being proactive became taboo for Tech.”
Great article from Teddy A on Flo. The best

Not horn tooting, but Flo asked for donations to Tech athletics...I just sent a donation in her memory to the Joe Aillet Endowment...seems appropriate since he hired her!
She was simply the best and one of a kind
