It's either move it early or lose it. Already a DH scheduled for Saturday and early start Sunday for Travel so can't play DH then.

At least it's 48 hours notice and not day of.

Knowing we had a DH on Saturday. The schedule should have been 4pm the whole time.

So what would you do to try to avoid a rain-out besides validate your charter membership in the CCC Club.

I expected the game to be moved up when I saw the forecast yesterday. We usually have to deal with some cold rainy weather in February and March.

Nope -

Weather issues - window looked more favorable 2 hours earlier - it will do one of two things, start raining at two and push it way back or it will be perfect weather and folks will gripe cause it should of been left at 6

Feb & March are always hit and miss on weather

Amen. I understand the costs of doing ESPN+ broadcasts - there are standards required - 2018 standards. However, there is no reason you can't throw the other games on YouTube with less than ESPN+ standards. It costs nothing. The games should already be recorded.

ESPN contract prohibits it...

I believe next year is the look-in year for renegotiations, that needs to be addressed

This is one instance where the SBC's Disney dollars trump the actual cash payouts

That seems simple enough to get waived (what can they really be losing out on here)?

About 3/4 of a million to a million dollars cash...

I don't think any 3rd tier rights are under the current contract outside of radio -

I think all in-house broadcasts are prohibited

I don't know if ESPN+ requires Profession PXP & Color (do they require 2). But I was talking with another fan this morning, and we should have a Grad Assistant position for Broadcasting. Have someone that calls the non-conference games we weren't going to broadcast and have students run the cameras/controls. Maybe some students in the Communications Studies | College of Liberal Arts (latech.edu).
