[David] Hey Coach Donovan, what do you think is the biggest danger that La Tech poses to the team
[Billy Donovan] They have one of the best frontcourt players in the country in Meeking and they are extremely athletic and quick and are an outstanding defensive team.
[netgator] Coach, what is the status of Nelson and Drejer?
[Billy Donovan] Brett Nelson appears to have the start of a stress fracture, his return is uncertain. Christian Drejer has a severe ankle sprain which will sit him out for a couple of weeks.
[G8rbalr] How will everyones roles change with the losses and injuries?
[Billy Donovan] At this point in time, we will have to rely a lot more on our freshmen class and they will all be thrown into the fire right away.
[gatorbogey] how do you characterize this year's team? compare it to last year's team? better shooters? better press defense? better half-court or what?
[Billy Donovan] Extremely deep on the perimeter with better shooting. Outside of Matt Bonner, our frontcourt is relatively inexperienced and it will be extremely difficult to replace Udonis Haslem.
[David] Hey coach what are your plans to deal with meeking... do you plan on double teaming him.. and also do you plan or pressing a great deal
[Billy Donovan] He is such a talented player that I'm not sure we have anybody in our frontcourt who can guard him. He'll be a tremendous challenge to our frontcourt.
[Guest] Coach, it seems that rebounding has been a problem for our team last season and even in the first 2 games, what are you doing to improve in this area?
[Billy Donovan] I think on every team, rebounding is always a concern. We really feel our team has done an outstanding job through the first two exhibition games rebounding the ball.
