Game ball to Amik Robertson
Dont know if you all saw Sunday's Vikings/Lions game, but Amik basically shut down Pro Bowl-bound Vikings WR Justin Jefferson (LSU). TV announcers were raving about him. They even showed an image of both players from when Tech played LSU with Amik in full Tech uniform.
And here is the clip where Amik is given the Defensive game ball....good stuff. https://youtu.be/3gBWAuEX0nM?si=_pu9XaN1KMZRmjQy

The whole game was fun to watch as a Lions fan -- but Amik was special. With all the CB injuries, he was moved from slot to outside, and impressed even more. So glad to see him making the most of the opportunity.
Re: Game ball to Amik Robertson
I'm not a Lions fan but am rooting for them this year, to finally reach the Super Bowl. Actually, before the season started my Super Bowl prediction was Lions vs. Bills. But now I have my doubts about the Bills. The old dependable KC Chiefs will probably win the AFC again.
What would be neat would be the Vikings vs. Bills in the Super Bowl since both are 0-4 all time in the big game. Winner would finally get that monkey off their back, loser...whoa! 0-5.
Happy for Amick. Good job Dawg!

All I could think about is we’re not likely to see many more if any make it to the league from Tech.
Re: Game ball to Amik Robertson
Love the humility he showed in that locker room clip.
Re: Game ball to Amik Robertson
Apparently Amik was unfortunately some sort of one game wonder. I didn’t see him in last night’s big upset loss. It’s too bad he didn’t get a chance to extend his contributing performance. He’ll probably be a Saint next year.

Amick suffered a shoulder injury in the very first series and never returned to the game. He was not a "one game wonder." He got hurt, and it was friendly fire too.
