Just saw there’s a book documenting THE BEST SPORTS BROADCASTER ever, the true GOAT…”Freeway” Dave Nitz. Written by a Tech fellow so it should be awesome.
Have always maintained that Tech got it right when we snatched Nitz and kept him for some 50 years as “the voice of the Dawgs (and Techsters too for awhile)”. What a treasure. We can always lean on this and say, sometimes Tech gets it right.
