IMO this is a great spot for a bye week. Kennesaw State next week should be a win going to 5-1. Western Kentucky will be a knife fight, but at least we get them at home. Sam Houston is bad and so is Delaware. Tech could very well be going to Pullman 8-1, and they are weak (North Texas gave them the business). BUT need to keep playing the way we are. Defense has been salty. I imagine the offense will come around. Go Dogs!

vs. UTEP - 137 yards passing, 95 yards rushing, 2 offensive TD's (1 pass, 1 rush), 2 defensive TD's
819 passing yards, 743 rushing yards in 5 games
13 offensive TD's (5 passing, 8 rushing) and 5 defensive TD's in 5 games
Everyone knows this, but defense is playing lights out, the RB's are doing ok, but there is a true lack of a passing game

Bye weeks scare me. We'll take a breather and nobody knows what team will show up at the next game. Will the the defense loose their edge? There is the chance that the offense will get its act together, but it just makes me nervous. I know, I know, it's a chance for some of the bumps and bruises to heal up. Don't lose focus either. The team needs to be a little loose, helps to keep matters in perspective.
