Army is not a bad option. 2 $ games in 2026 is not horrible either, especially with both being regional. It's possible, if the schedule lines up just right, we'll only need two flights next year, with the remaining games being 5 hour or less drive. Troy is about 7 hours and our Away West opponent will be more.

Setting up to be an excellent schedule. Having Army in Ruston is great. Having Army in Dallas as a home game was a top 10 worst move in the history of Tech Athletics.

I mean, two money games was always a possibility. I had some hope we'd manage two staggered G6 home-and-home series. I always figured the "away in 2026" one would be the easy one. NOBODY wanted to start a series by hosting us next year?
I'm sure we can use the money.
And yeah - overall? It's as good of a total schedule as we've had in a long time. As I said on the other thread, a huge portion of our overall most-played series. If you have to have two money games, at least they're both in the region. Even a broke student could reasonably attend a LOT of Tech games in 2026.

It's a Home and Home/ 2nd game in Shreveport in 2030 or after. $500,000, cancellation clause. We get paid $600,000, for 1st game. For Shreveport game, each team is responsible for their own ticket sales and retain all revenue from those sales.

Ok. That wasn't clear from the release. That's better (I think).

I'm kind of surprised at that since this GAME contract wasn't signed until 5 days ago (12/10/2025). WTH?

Hmm. Makes me worried we WILL still be stuck in C-USA next season. :(
