A tough sell to the AQs but the idea has its merits. Might be a way for the big conferences to hold off attacks for anti-trust or on the tax-exempt status should they go to 16. But I doubt it gets serious consideration anytime soon.

The superconferences are a little larger than the current AQ conferences. So teams could easily be told and led believe that as long as they perform then the current nonAQ teams that are allowed to play up will be the teams most at risk to be changing groups every other year. The pie would be split a little more, but with a graduated income distribution schedule (like the B12). It could appear to be little to risk - as long as you perform on the field.Quote:
