SMU Tops in Recruiting in CUSA

June Jones didn't waste any time turning around the program at SMU. It's reported that they just got their 14th commitment, that their recruiting class is currently ranked 49th in the nation, and is ranked number 1 in CUSA. Give me some of that magic.

Amazing what getting into a BCS game can do for your reputation.

It will all look good with the recruiting services, but those kids have to get into SMU to really count.

I'm curious to see if they get any backlash from potential recruits after that fiasco between the Entrance board and Jones over the Brenham HS youngster. BTW, he wound up at UTSA.

Probably not. He seems to be doing fine.

This is like ULM bragging about their recruiting and their class being ranked #49 in the nation in an article last week. WAY too early to be bragging IMO. Logn time until Feb 5. If there was an early signing period it would mean a little more.
