Re: Dykes talks football...
It was 82 in 45 - with no holding calls, 1 fumble and no false starts....(I think)
I still can't believe they wouldn't let me keep the framed schedule poster :icon_wink:

How our talent compares to PAC-10: difference in terms of depth on off/def lines; qb is about the same; lb is about the same; rb is about the same; db is the same or better; wr is probably the most talented group he's ever coached.
We needed to sign a number of jucos in order to even out the class--he feels like we hit on all of those guys. the wr will probably be the most productive on the team
He is very impressed with the defensive line--as a unit they have stepped up. Every one of those guys is in a fight to keep a starting job--that includes established starters like Cole, Vic, and Carter.
Both McGill and Harmon will have a chance to play at the next level.
let me add:
Dykes said Ikaro (the JUCO WR) will probably be out best WR this year.

Yep, we have 2 years to kick WAC butt and draw some great attention. Just Win and the conference stuff will work out just fine.

I don't remember any conversation about boobs.
Re: Dykes talks football...
Others can back me up on this... Dykes is not the least bit insecure or defensive--he'll talk about anything. Said that he made a switch in starters at Arizona last year to a guy w/o experience, worked out well. This week and the next are our the 2 most important of camp b/c this is when the true leaders emerge.
He said what makes a great receiver is not the ability to make big plays but the discipline and effort to make the little plays.
Re: Dykes talks football...
I sure hope that Ensminger can get it done! It will be very nice to have WRs that can catch the ball. Back to the fun ol days... Rattay to Edwards...TOUCHDOWN BULLDOGS! YOU GOTTA LOVE IT! :)

I do. We've been talking about Karl Benson for the past 2 days.
