I part of me feels like, taking BYU and Uconn would be our best option. I don't want to lose Rice or USM and think that maybe the AAC would replace them with an Eastern Division School from the CUSA that I don't give a crap about.

I don't believe UConn is a real option. They offer market only.
The AAC has said they do not need to back fill.
I am just thinking outside the box and I don't necessarily disagree with you, but if UConn gave them ESPN, it would bring UT, OU, TCU Baylor to the NorthEast. And we wouldn't lose anyone in CUSA for now.Quote:
