It just takes a small amount of preparation

It was simply...BORING
Thanks Skip, you've turned the "Tech offensive brand" from "run and gun up tempo no huddle very fun to watch" to literally a run option team.
btw, where is the criticism of Tech's offensive coordinator. Bad passing and bad offense follows that dude like bad B.O.

The offensive game plan last night was reminiscent of 2013 when Holtz was just trying to figure out what might work.
The defense wasn't a world-beater either, with Sneed and Baldwin not being able to figure out who was supposed to cover the WR. So neither one covered him- TOUCHDOWN UAB! Way to go Tech!

You are way off on this part

Seriously, do you just argue for entertainment? Watch the 0:44 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQRhBEhcsGs and you'll see Sneed #24 and Baldwin #28 both blitz and NOBODY covers UAB WR #7 for their first TD. Holtz talked about this defensive miscommunication in his postgame interview as well.

Seriously? You are trying to blame the defense because of one bad play? Did we lose by one TD? The defense graded an A. The offense an F
Re: 2018: How to Watch Louisiana Tech Football
I didn't "blame the defense". I said they weren't world-beaters either.

Skip calls the plays, he’s said as much several times. The OC is an old friend of Skip’s that I believe was relieved of his duties at BC.

Yeah they were. They played well

Not what I watched. On paper it was fine. But, UAB’s O was ALMOST as bad as ours. Several wide open receivers that the QB missed. Arm tackling and bad angles...D just looked better because their O was so bad.
Happened the other way around too.
As historian has already pointed out, the worst thing about last night was that we had no plan B. They blitzed effectively and played man to man really well and we had NO answer.
