Okay....everybody gets it. You have a hard-on for Skip Holtz. Go find him and thank him for putting us in this situation.

I will say this: With the advent of today's transfer portal, there's no excuse for being this bad these days.

The situation of our fans getting delusions of grandeur after several successful seasons but coming up short to teams with much higher athletic budgets?

Well, they've got to want to come play here in the first place.

Well, one advantage of being arm tacklers is, we're less likely to actually have targeting.
Re: LA Tech Football Opens 2022 Season at Missouri Thursday Night - latechsports.com
For the most part, we aren’t going to get great players as transfers. We are going to get a lot of 2nd and 3rd chance kind of players. A handful of G5 programs will get more desirable players.

INT keeps Tech alive for now.
That won't last with the epidemic of dropsies.
And now Smoke is dinged up.

Yeah, THAT. He couldn't do it. He couldn't get it done. Holtz SUCKED the last two years, and really longer. Holtz is the reason the cupboard is bare, and HE'S the reason Tech is in this situation.

Even after all the mismanagement in Tech's ivory halls, a few well-placed golden seasons (not just beating up dregs) during that time would probably have put Tech on the last boat out of hell.
Alas.

Lol, "he hasn't completed a pass in his FBS career." Drop, Drop, first career completion goes for 1 yard.

Another booming punt of 31 yards

No it wouldn't have. Our issue in this round of reallignment was geography. Ruston isn't a major TV market so we didn't make sense for the AAC and the Sun Belt already had a team 30 minutes down the road.
