It may look "tacky" to some, but I think it would look better being in the "finishing stages" of construction than done at first... It being built, as oppose to being done, could be shown better at look at what's happening now, instead of look at what's happened before, which all would lead to what's happening in the future.

Missou announced they are building a new video board (30x80)...32 ft wider and 3 ft taller than ours. It'll be ready by the beginning of the season. Looks like our vendor will be busy this summer. I like our design better.

Yeah i checked it periodically to see if we had a write up but don't see any for Louisiana tech either. I did talk to some Tech guys at Tech and Tails, they did say we are going with Daktronics.

I wish we could have some sort of write up and pics of the board on latechsports.com, it will sure help increase excitement and ticket sales.

how can you claim to be the most pessimistic person when others have openly expressed their doubts about finishing on time?what specifically does your pessimism involve, if not timing?

i just went back and re-read his post and i see that he was speaking of his pessimism in general, not on this in particular. i agree that dfm is ONE OF the most pessimistic people on the board, but he seems to be becoming less so since the start of the dooley era.

could it be that dwayne has a man-crush on dooley and just doesn't know how to show it?

30 mil might have done the trick in 1990, but you'd be lucky to get much more than luxury boxes for that these days. :icon_wink:
