Leach will do very well in the ACC. However, it does make UMD look bad in firing the ACC Coach of the Year. Won 8 games and took them to a bowl.
Maryland doesnt care about looking bad, they are worried about the continuing conference shake-ups and about winning bigger than 8 games. I don't agree with the decision, but I do understand what they are doing.Quote:

All a moot point though. Leach will be offered (providing the UMD President does not veto it) and he will accept. Hope he does not try to pull in assistants from his past.
