Put a krispy kreme, chikfila and a target behind dowlings and I might not ever venture past tech drive. Ok and whatever taco/burrito joint you big city dawgs decide on.
I've seen there commercials but never eaten there. Is it like a Fuddruckers?Quote:

It's generally a "hole in the wall" place owned by local people. I've had some good BBQ all over the country, but very few are as good as Dowling's. I'm not sure Dowling's great taste could be replicated by a franchisee. There are very few well known BBQ franchises and the few there are seem to be mostly regional.
I haven't been to Fuddruckers in about 15 years so I can't do the head-to-head. Red Robin has really good burgers, milkshakes, alcohol, and free refills on french fries, which are thick-cut "steak fries" seasoned with something akin to Lowry's.Quote:
