Cutting to irrelevancy does not make him better.

Hardly what he is advocating.

Why do you prefer Trump over Cruz? Simple question requires a simple answer.

A compilation of the reasons I've heard: Alpha male, not a politician, need an outsider, Democrat voters like him, not too conservative, not very Christian, good businessman, predicted Brussels attack, not politically correct, establishment hates him.
In a nutshell, it's an anger vote. The politicians have failed, let's give an outsider a shot at it.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
I support Trump over Cruz because Trump will actually build the wall. Trump will impose tariffs on goods from Mexico and China on products that China doesn't let the USA sell in China and Mexico. I actually believe Trump has a better chance of winning the general than Cruz.
Here is why:
Trump will pickup many Dem and Ind Berny supporters that Cruz won't.
If Trump can repair the damage with women, he will win in blow out.
Trump does need to act more presidential, like now not tomorrow and he will pick up support.
Don't get me wrong, I would love for Cruz to be president but his conservative views will be a major target by the media and Dems. They will destroy him were I believe Trump will be able to fight back more effectively.
On to New York and the NE. If Trump doesn't win big then he will not get 1237 and the establishment and Cruz will take the nomination from him. I just hope if this happens it Cruz with his millions of less votes than Trump can get some of the Trump vote. Kasic who is still behind Rubio, needs to drop out. If the party chose him, I would vote 3rd party for the first time in my life.

That's a HUGE if. More women than men vote in presidential elections. In the 2012 election there was a HUGE gender gap. Being that Trump is much more hostile toward women than Romney was, that gap will be even greater.

So you support Trump over Cruz because...
- He promised to build the wall
- He SAYS he will impose tariffs (that Cruz won't try to impose?)
- He has a better chance to beat Hillary IF he mends his ways.
Have you heard his rambling on about fixing Obamacare? He will govern by holding his wet finger in the air to feel the wind direction. I'll still vote for him over the evil bitch, but he is scary.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Yeah, Trump is out from a propaganda standpoint. He didn't think through the issues and it got him. You have to know where you stand and why. There is no winging it in a presidential election. 80% of women won't vote for him, so he would need 90% of the male vote. He's out.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Tariffs are out. He's already backed away saying it was just a threat to get a conversation started. (China and Mexico heard him say that). I'm sure there's a Plan B, but I haven't heard it yet.

I don't believe the 80% stat.
Minorities saying home will offset many of the usual stats, but that's not why I don't believe the 80% deal.
Hillary's likeability from most peeps with a sense of logic is almost zero. That is not factored in at all.

Agree, both should be able to blow her out based on her ethics, scandals, botches, lack of accomplishments, shrillness, etc... but as long as she has a "D" by her name, she will get around 50% of the votes. No one will be excited about voting for her, but they may be convinced that Trump is Hitler and they need to go vote against him.
