Well, partly because I was listening to the Neapolitan language version, so the Neapolitan name seemed appropriate. And partly because I wasn't aware of that version due to the gap in my Veggie Tales knowledge.

There are plenty of songs with a crappy meaning. "Bonfire out in the sticks buncha country backwoods homegrown hicks" isn't what I would consider "meaningful".
