Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
T1 - Hey TYLERTECHSAS, what would you say the chances are of a guy like you and a guy like me ending up with a better candidate than Trump in Cincinnati?
TYLERTECHSAS - We'll T1 that's hard to say
T1 - Come on TYLER just give it to me straight and level with me, would you say one in a hundred?
TYLERTECHSAS - I'd say it's more like one in a million.
T1 - So you're telling me there's a chance!
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
There's still a chance. It's all about Indiana now. Cruz HAS to win Indiana. Then if he does well in California (splits a bunch of delegates with Trump), he's got a good shot at the contested convention. But if Cruz gets the nomination at the convention, the Trump folks will not vote for him and Hillary will win. It appears that either way Hillary is the next president.

The last numbers I saw on that say only 16 percent of Trump supporters won't support the GOP nominee if it's not Donald. That's not nearly the number most folks fear.

I think that will change. Trump is out there telling people he's already won, it's over. It would look terrible to the low info voters if Cruz ends up getting the nomination. Trump will raise hell and fire up his supporters. It will be a cluster.

Of course he is. Trump is a master. He's convinced his supporters that Cruz is an establishment guy for goodness sake! That said, the ones that are driving the narrative are the news outlets (in part by giving Trump coverage and in part by operating as if Trump has already sealed it up). That said, there's a LONG time between the convention and November. There will certainly be fall-out if Trump isn't the nominee, but there will be plenty of time to regain support by November. What NO ONE is talking about is the incredibly short attention span of the average consumer of information in our country.
I'll assert again, it doesn't matter how short Trump is of 1237, he's not getting the nod unless he can't be denied. He'll have no one to blame but himself.
On another note, Cruz would already be the nominee if he hasn't taken his "I'm not here to make friends" stance up until he needed some help from friendships that he hadn't yet cultivated.

It is a shame we didn't know earlier that game show hosts could get the Republican nomination. We could have done better than Trump:

In other words, it is a clown show.

Well, duh, people were saying before he ever got into the race that it was going to be uphill climb for a guy that hates his party, hates his colleges and is known as the most hated guy Congress.

So, what you are saying is, Barris acted the fool for laughs on a game show, but has done what has had to be done in reality.
All the while, Trump talks tough, but has done nothing substantively tough in reality. Well, was tough making fun of how other Republcians eat.
Re: 2016 Presidential Campaign
Trump gave a pretty good speech today...though I didn't catch all of it.

Yes, not bad. I could vote for that guy. Just keep him reading the prompter. I don't know what he's going to do in the debates though. I would encourage him not to debate Hillary at all.
