How did the pork belly turn out?

The belly was awesome! I've been making bacon for my business for several months and this was a variation thereof...for personal use.

i prefer with fresh. i can never find daikon (not that i've looked real hard). it's good with fresh carrots and cucumber -- you should try.

Thanks for this most excellent video. Even with my self proclaimed minimalist tendencies I'm sticking with Guisslapp's marinade process. I think it does a better job of softening up the potentially tough structure of the Skirt Steak (and the Flank).

Did you watch any of the other Alton Brown videos?

I watched the one on grilled grilled cheese, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'd prefer that to griddled grilled cheese.

Grilled cheese is under-rated
