Looking forward to the drive? No. Looking forward to the game? Yes. Agree with the decision to postpone? Yes. Think stated sole reason for postponement (safety/health) was actually the only reason? No.

So I'm assuming it will not be televised.
I don't know that is a safe assumption. I think they are waiting to decide a time on a game on the 13th because they are working with the espn people to get it done. I know someone who know's someone who once knew someone that knew Cartek's cab driver. :icon_wink:
Just seems like an unscrupulous way to gain an advantage. If we were on the other side of this situation and the other school's AD made a comment like Bruce did about Sonny being ok with moving the game because he didn't have film, the decision would be questioned the exact way I am by members of this board and members of the Tech family.
Not trying to ruffle any feathers, just trying to act as an objective observer.
In the slim (20%) chance that it does not rain, how stupid does this move look?
Why not Friday night or Sunday?
Unnecessary and dumb remark by BVDV if correctly paraphrased, but not having film was not a reason for postponement. It's quite a bit more likely that the added game experience favors the aggies by a wide margin over any benefit we get from having film to review.
I would put not having film to review more in the category of a consolation benefit when trying to look on the bright side of a situation. We were geared-up and ready to play. It's frustrating to have to shift back to practice mode and was not the preferred decision for SD - guaranteed. It's just a decision with which he can live.
Maybe he was joking and it didn't come off as a joke. He's not the most vibrant speaker I've ever heard. (Now I'm on the naughty list.:icon_wink:)
