Great win Bulldogs!!!
Wow. That wasn't locked up until 4 sec left
I have to admit, I'm a little to blame. I've been listening to the game, and then down by 9 I finally remember to put on my Tech baseball cap, and as soon as I did, we started the come back.
I promise from here on out, I will be wearing my cap every game.
Faced adversity and got it done. Tulsa plays better than record would indicate.
Obviously every win is a good win, but this one tonight against Tulsa is a particularly good win. Lose tonight, and you can stick a fork in us because we would be DONE. But the win tonight against Tulsa --arguably one of our toughest remaining regular season games-- makes all the difference in our regular season.
Good teams are the ones that can have a off game and still get a win.
All the same, I think I may have used some of my bad words watching at home tonight.
We've got too many guys not looking at the rim when they are shooting free throws. Instead of looking at the rim, several of our guys look down at the floor --or at the basketball-- right up until they shoot. The first time they see the rim is when the ball is almost in the air.
I can't believe Coach White can't coach 'em out of that problem.
We were dead in the water with 5 minutes to go in the ball game -
JJ kept us in it and Keyon won it with his 7/8 from the stripe down the line
If we shoot 72% from the stripe we win by 15
I think Coach White is trying to walk a fine line with the FT's - trying to push them enough with extra work on it while at the same time not making it a mental issue - except for Keyon basically everyone was bad at the line tonite
Kyser was HUGE on the floor the last 5 minutes of the ball game - as bad as he played the first 35, he was that good the last 5
We had the looks all night long - counted 4 threes that were in the basket and popped back out
Hamilton was off again tonite - he really struggled with all aspects of his game
Andersen was cold as ice but got several huge put backs
But it was a W and I will take it
My guess was the crowd was just south of 4k - maybe 3,800 but they were LOUD that last 5 minutes
They were really loud, especially on the shot clock violation stretch - as loud as I have ever heard the TAC, even when it was full
