Ive listened to most of their podcasts this year. They dance around the Holtz situation. I don’t know why, but they have local advertisers so that may play into it. Also, they have interviewed Austin Kendall and other Tech people. Perhaps they have access to these people because they “they don’t go there” about Skip?
Re: It's Now The Time to Move Forward
BBB is an open board, and it’s free to post. I much prefer it because posters are free to share their thoughts about all things Tech, even if they’re not popular. Have no ill will towards BTB, and I hope they are successful in what they are trying to do, because we need all the support we can get.

Similar to the presidential election, right?

Exactly right (even though it was an accident on your part).

I didn’t believe you until I went to the first game in ‘97 and I was hooked. So you are to blame for me even being here.
Between 2000 and Skip’s arrival we had 5 winning seasons out of 13. Since Skip has been here we have had 6 out of 8 winning seasons until this admittedly depressing season. Sure, if there were no buyouts or Skip was in the last year or two of his contract, fine, move on. But unless there are donors willing to pony up $2.55 million to fire him and another $1 million extra each year to attract a head coach and staff that can live up to even higher expectations, then what is anyone supposed to do?
Personally, I’m in the camp that he’s had enough long term success to get next year and if it doesn’t turn around then move on and buyout the last two years. But if you really want us to tank, add the uncertainty of a new coach with the uncertainty of a new conference arrangement and it may take years to dig out of that hole just to get back to just beating the teams with losing records and winning a lot of bowl games that is so embarrassing.
But again, my original point was that you can’t fire a guy who went 10-3 unless something really shady is going on. If you do, not even Art Briles would come be our coach.
Speaking of a finishing record is like calling me a basketball superstar when I'm playing against 10 year olds (technically most of them could probably beat me now (-:). Here's Tech's Sagarin rating at the end of the year (schedule strength): 2020 116 (110); 2019 80 (139); 2018 103 (123); 2017 79 (125); 2016 59 (104); 2015 68 (119); 2014 34 (71); 2013 166 (144); 2012 51 (106), 2011 48 (74); 2010 91 (82); 2009 89 (74); 2008 87 (112). One might could get excited about the 2014 season but I don't see anything else with Skip as the coach.

Wrong forum, but that's a weird criteria for picking your political candidates...but you do you.

What kind of revisionist history is this?
Yes, the last two seasons have fallen off sharply, but saying he should have been fired in 2019 is borderline nuts. And the fact that no one on this board even pushed back on this is even sadder.
There we go the high-water mark season 10-3. As I have stated before 8 wins were against teams who finished with losing records, a win against an fcs team. The “good win” was against a 7-6 USM team, who fired their coach one game into the next season. The “big win” which was against one of the worst Miami teams in 40 years, who were coached by a coach in his first year, who was already on the hotseat. This magical season was all smoke and mirrors, no substance. Just like Skip. Surprised so many of you were fooled by this crap show.

You nailed the anti-American posters on the BB&B...and they know who they are. Of course, they are proud of it!

The course was plotted after that season, well actually from the day SH got here. Skip is very much like an anticipated train wreck, the track only goes to one destination and there is no veering off that course and everyone knows what the destination is and what the result will be. Please stop hoping that things will get better, THEY WILL NOT! That is why you have to let him go NOW! With almost 100% certainty, you know where your program is going, Skip is history that keeps repeating itself and apparently no one is a student of SH history.

Think about it this way…
Everyone knew the rockstar was Skip’s QB and he had 4 years to be Skip’s QB.
Did Skip bother recruiting a QB after the rockstar?
Last year we split time with 2 QBs and everyone knows when you have 2 QBs you have NO QBs.
Both Allen and Anthony were struggling so much that nobody had a clue who would be the QB1 this year before they brought Kendall in (IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER!!!)
Skip had NO plans in place for a decent QB for the 2021 season before Sloan went out and asked a pharmaceutical rep to come back to school.
That should concern everyone on this board and BTB boards and the administration! There was no plan for the most important position on the team.
Re: It's Now The Time to Move Forward
His plan is to get paid and play golf.... his plan is working perfect for him. The rest of Bulldog nation not one damn bit.
