No he doesn't.

LMAO. College athletics is run by the stupid rich and really poor business people.
5 years left and then two 4-8 seasons would leave just one future year of buyout using my terms. 4 years left with back-to-back 4-8 years would leave no future year buyout.

By comparison, UAB has produced 3.
Probably spend most of their time on the board run by the guy would said last night on air that South Alabama is a bowl team this year. USA finished 5-7 and is not bowling.

Question……
I hate the saying “doing more with less”. However, the exact opposite seems true for Holtz. Have we ever had a coach do less with more like he did? A dozen of his players in the league. New and upgraded facilities, higher assistant salaries(I think) than previous HC’s have had.

"Doing more with less" is why Tech will still be in C-USA two years from now.
Have to have more to keep up in FBS.

Exactly, I was just pointing out the fact that Skips performance seems to fly in the face of the mantra so many(not me)have always shouted about us.

If you can do more with less, then do more with more.

We had some good times. I wish him the best. I hope we can make a good hire.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Holtz end up as ULM's coach, either in 2022 or 2023. He lives in the area and I doubt Bowden hangs on much longer over there.

That's what I say too. Give me back about 15 wins that Tech should have had on Holtzs' watch, and I'll be happy to wish him good luck. Otherwise, he can kiss my buttocks. I have no affection for that stubborn mule. Make no mistake, Holtz is getting fired because he's too stubborn to CHANGE. By continuing to make the SAME mistakes over and over, he's the definition of stubborn and stupidity.

LA Tech has lost 14 of its' last 20 football games. That's 70%. Just how many losses do we have to endure before someone like YOU finally takes action? Holtz was losing 70% of his games, home football attendance has decreased by 90%+, athletic financial support was declining and neither the AAC, the Sunbelt or the MAC --or anyone else for that matter-- wanted LA Tech during this last round of conference realignment. Just how bad do things need to get before a stump like you makes a change?

13.0
Termination Without Cause
13.1
If the UNIVERSITY terminates this CONTRACT without cause, as liquidated
damages, the FOUNDATION shall pay COACH his total annual compensation (see Paragraphs
3.1 and 3.2) remaining on this CONTRACT that would have been earned but for UNIVERSITY'S
termination without cause. These amounts shall be payable by the FOUNDATION solely through
its athletic funds. The amount due for the calendar year in which termination without cause occurs
shall be payable within thirty (30) days of termination without cause. The remaining balance shall
be payable in equal installments, with the first installment due on July 15 following termination
without cause and all subsequent installments payable by July 15 of each successive year until paid
in full. FOUNDATION may accelerate payments to COACH without penalty. However, in no
event will such payments be subject to any offset and/or mitigation.
I would suggest that we are firing Holtz for Termination WITH CAUSE. He's not winning enough, and he's not putting fans in the stands. Is winning enough football games and emptying our stands not considered a "cause" for firing? If not, that's stupid in and of itself. I would make him prove it in court.

LMAO!
Why don’t you want to admit Holtz had quit before the season began.
19 transfers is proof of that.

Read 14.1.1.
Tech can definitely make the claim he was fired for cause.

Well, put your money where your mouth is and send in your check. Seriously, 25K alone from you should be about right. Oh? Are you suggesting that's too much? Oh, if it affects you, you DO WANT to talk about it?
