Excellent pictures!
These really put the size into perspective for me. The structure is looking great too. What is all that iron work for above the low brick?
I thought they nixed that section.
Re: First Look at GATAVision
they only took out the glass column that went inside of the steel work you see there. the steel work is to support the perforated aluminum panels. they will be much like the panels on the stairwells at all the University Park apartments.

Had to meet with Malcolm today (yea, team's flying out of Monroe this year . . . S'port airport's long runway is being repaved and is closed until next year sometime. So that is convenient for me and saves the team about 30 minutes of travel time each way.)
Nothing really new to the look of the video board other than what's already been pictured previously.
Dominating the action today was the chip sealing of the parking lots. Wow, the dump trucks haul butt BACKWARDS when they're doing this, dropping the layer of rock on the tarry, liquid asphaltic material.

Bigger view of lots.
Also, a look at the new ticket booth on the east side. Attractive, colorful awnings above and a decorative LA TECH logo will adorn the right side of the windows on the brick our new ticket manager says.
Also, Lake Reneau channel being shaped.

Good. I seem to recall our guys having to bus it to Auburn during the 90's.

Ya'll interested in knowing how much that orange (Bear Cat) machine in the middle picture costs?
