From my source, Mike White turned down the Tennessee offer after googling AD Dave Hart's picture. He found him a little creepy.

:laugh: You're kidding right? You're setting the bar kinda high for that bunch. :laugh: Remember what I told you before.....the media in Louisiana --particularly in NORTH Louisiana, is L-A-Z-Y!! Don't expect a lot of gumshoe work on their part.

There's no question that LA Tech has the "hottest property" for a coach in the state of Louisiana. Nobody else comes close.

They don't want that story. There won't be a peep in the Times because Lang was sure he was leaving.

I think Dietrich will get him...

Goes to show that being forthright and completely above board is the best policy. It is obvious that MW went with those he can feel comfortable with despite the "this is a much better job" option. MW's integrity and solid decision making only increases the brightness of his rising star.

I wouldn't believe a single word any of the lame stream media has to say/print on this one. Too many of them, and some on this board as well, will be covering their arse and/or be silent after being totally wrong and not understanding the man that is HCMW.

We are so lucky to have him on campus in Ruston, Louisiana!
