Probably hard to get things done for NASA if you're magnetic. Stuff will keep sticking to you.
Y'all think Lane is growing up? His comment on how much worse off they'd be without being vaccinated at Ole Miss was actually pretty good. Not to mention applicable to society at large.

I will keep this comment up we will see how it ages. Enjoy your boosters. There’s nine planned so far.
And they have requested more time to make sure boosters are safe.

I do believe we have folks showing up at our border from this area, as well as areas that have to travel through Columbia. Some of these folks have probably already been distributed to a city near you, and may be spreading the virus there.
I also heard that a study was done in Israel that showed natural immunity (from having the virus) was superior to any immunity you get from a vaccine. Now that study has not been peer reviewed yet, but it seems reasonable to me. If I had already gotten and survived Covid, there is no way I would get a shot.
Hopefully studies like the one in Israel can be used in the future to determine what the best practices are when dealing with a pandemic caused by a virus. The data created in the United States has become far too politically shaped (on all sides) to be used for almost anything.

There is not a specific test for a variant. If you test positive for SARS CO-V2, are you testing positive for “classic” COVID, the Delta variant, the MU variant, or one of the dozens to come as a result of spike proteins being emitted from mRNA injected people?
So if there is nit a specific test for a variant, how can they say that this particular booster will prevent that particular variant. They can’t as CDC Director Walensky has said. They can only hope. https://twitter.com/drelidavid/statu...696795651?s=21

Nothing to worry about. After Skip’s lack of performance today, we will be lucky to have 5000 there next weekend. Plenty of room to social distance times 2.

I honestly do not understand why any of you have an issue providing a vax card. As a physician, who has actually seen people on ventilators die from Covid-19, people seem to not understand that their lite case (that they inadvertently give to someone’s grandmother) can very well be the death case for someone else. Aside from the obvious negligence of doing that, the influx in cases is bankrupting our healthcare system (we don’t have the staff to meet the needs of the public). The other day, a colleague of mine had a heart attack patient that desperately needed a stent. But guess what? Due to all our Covid patients, we couldn’t get this patient a bed and we had to bounce them around to multiple hospitals just to provide a “possibility” of getting them a bed. This is just one story. My wife is an ER physician, she’s told me all sorts of stories that are worse than the one I just shared.
If someone doesn’t want to get the vaccines, that have been proven to work, that’s their right. But when you chose to take this stance in an attempt to flex your moralistic muscle, I hope you at least wear a mask to the game and/or please avoid events with crowds altogether. Doing anything beyond that is recklessly irresponsible with your health as well as those around you.
As far as comparing a vax card to a medical record, that’s just absurd . A vax card just provides proof that you received a dose of vaccine, and since >99% of the population can receive that very same vaccine, a vax card does not provide anyone with an encrypted glimpse into your medical record; presenting a card that has your name, a vaccination date, and a lot number is a far cry from pouring through your private/sensitive health records that are specific to you as an individual. Furthermore, the state monitors covid vaccinations statistics for Covid 19 (alongside all the people who are being hospitalized and actually dying from it). This is why your vaccination status is linked to your digital drivers license (rather you know it or not). Before you enter a bar/lounge/club, you probably don’t mind showing someone your drivers license, which has way more sensitive information than a vax card.
Lastly, I know this a hot button for some of you. I respect that. Before any of you decide to send me hate mail, please know that I am fulfilling my obligations a public servant. I’m trying to help.

I don't get carded anymore...they take one look at me and say, whoa! you're over 21, ain't ya!
I don't know, and by "know" I mean really know, anything about this virus, the vaccines, etc...I base my decisions on what I THINK I "know," and so do all of you. We are all just bouncing along HOPING we are making the right decisions for ourselves, our families, and I suppose society in general.
My daughter just got the second dose of the Pfizer vax yesterday. Last night she was feeling awful, her arm ached, and she was running a low-grade fever. She is sleeping soundly at the moment (it's 4am) and we will check on her a little later. She had to get vaxxed else quit her medical field job. Otherwise, no way would she have gotten vaxxed. She hates getting shots...doesn't mind giving them to others, just hates getting them.

Yes, as a physician, I would encourage all of you (with very few exceptions) to get vaccinated.

Good post. Wishing all the best for your daughters recovery, D80.
I've shared this story before. One of my friends in Dallas almost died this summer from receiving the 1st Pfizer shot back in April. Jason was a very healthy 59-yr old male, and had none of the pre-existing high risk conditions (no diabetes, or obesity, or lung or kidney problems, etc...). Immediately after receiving the 1st shot, he ended up with severe neurological problems (very painful problems affecting his nervous system), and subsequently had a heart attack and open heart surgery. Only by the grace of God and a great medical surgeon team, did he make it. And after 5 months, he's still recovering slowly, and he still has regrets over getting the shot.
The media doesn't tell you about stories like my friend. His name is Jason Ballard, and he lives in Plano, TX. He's very real, and due to media censorship, you won't likely find a story like his on the internet. I've seen up close and personal what these shots can do. Everybody's got to make their own decisions and I respect that. Just know when you get a shot, they are literally and purposely putting some of that virus in your body.

They aren’t putting a virus in your body. It is just the spike protein. The spoke protein provokes your body to have an immune response.

Now you have the "GREAT" Doctor Guisslapp's explanation to enlighten us.

Goosey is that guy from "Catch Me if You Can." He will pretend to be whatever profession he needs to make an invalid point.
Hah! Sorry Goose, my good friend, couldn't resist ;)

Do you, at the request of a patient or patient’s family ever vary away from the CDC COVID protocol? Does every patient get the ventilator? I have a good friend whose husband was admitted with “COVID pneumonia” and the staff immediately started talking ventilator, ventilator, ventilator. She firmly refused, instead insisting on 10,000 units Vitamin C IV, Budesonide, Ivermectin, NO ventilator. Her husband walked out, released, 4 days after admission.
So are you a CDC, NIH protocol only?

Please post all ingredients in the injection you propose. Should be easy for you to do.
