That would hardly make it better. In fact, I'm glad a Tech grad didn't produce this monstrosity.
Not to be confused, apparently, with Curtis Pittman, Grambling Women's T&F Assistant Coach

Nah, anyone can create crap. It takes real talent to create ugliness.

I actually like it. Something's wrong with me.

That was the coffee house under Tollivar cafeteria, home of the 1lb. donuts and a great juke box. I remember Martin Mull performing his stand-up there.

Tolliver was "the" cafeteria when I was at Tech. Upper Tolliver and Lower Tolliver it was called.

It's a metaphor for Tech Athletics.
Sure, it's an affront to good sensibilities and a waste of money, but the elites think its great!
Re: Guice fiddles as Tech football burns
The only good use I see for it is to stick the effigies for the victims of our victories when next we have one... IF next we ever have one. So yeah, it’s a waste of money and space. A Bulldog hotdog stand would’ve served the passers by better.

Well, it doesn't look that bad to me. Better than that urinal thing they put where the Lady of the Mist was when she was decapitated.
I will say it looks like a bad landing zone for the skydiving team!

Ahhh....... Lady of the Mist. Haven't thought about her is quite some time. Still remember the time I got in big trouble with the wife when we took our young girls back to Tech to see where Mommy and Daddy went to school. We walked in the Quad and the girls asked what that statue was. I said that was the Lady of the Mist. One of the kids, without missing a beat, said "yea, don't you remember, she stands up when a virgin walks by". Never seen my wife's face as red as it was that day!
