I have such a diverse taste in music I think my DJ's could be schizophrenic. Since I invested in an Ipod I have not obsessed over an album quite like I used to. There is just too much available and depending on my mood it could be anything from Ella Fitzgerald to The Sex Pistols.

on topic: OUTLAW COUNTRY (although, I am protesting the Sirius Outlaw Country channel, as it most certainly is not of the genre. Should be called Sirius Trucker Music, because that's all they play. And its not good)

I don't know of any big Strop acts. Scotty Robinson is a gifted song writer who has played and written for some big names.
Hank Jr and Joe Stampley were married to sisters from Mer Rouge, and MC Hammer is really Stanley Burrell and went to HV Adams Elementary in Bastrop when he lived with his grandmother.
Other than that, Tony Joe White is from Oak Grove but he and his family went to church with the Hemphills in Bastrop. That was as talented a musical group you would ever see in a Pentecostal church.
