Downtown Ruston is getting some new murals. It's good to see some more art being put around the town.

Anyone know what is being built at North Village Plaza?

Haven't been there lately, but earlier someone on here said either condos or apartments, don't remember which. Is there something started besides that?

Also some oil and gas outfit moving there from jonesboro, i think? Back in the T. L. James area toward CC.

mamail32Our big day finally is here. When we moved to Ruston we wanted to give back like we did in Utah. Working on this project through government funding which took almost 5yrs to get. Lots of paperwork. It will be nice to be able to help our community with affordable housing. We would of loved being with @utahjazz today to celebrate but scheduling was already set. Want to Thank our town of Ruston @cityofruston@rustoncvb being so patient and so supportive with all our projects and dreams we have to make Ruston a town people can come and enjoy themselves. With @louisianatech @louisianatravel@gramfamshoutouts our college student body is growing so we need housing for them to. What a blessing that we are able to achieve our dreams. #familyovereverything #karlmalone#ruston #latech#gramblingstateuniversity#afforablehousing #givingback#loveourcity

I bet they formed an LLC with partners/investors (I could speculate who) and sold the property to that entity...which would make us both correct.

they replied to a message I sent them a couple weeks ago and they said in May. Now, I've seen it being a Shanes Seafood to a Twisted Root, but I've gotten a response directly from their page when I messaged them. yeah, I'm looking forward to this opening ;)
