I agree. But it just looks bad to attack a guy you appointed on twitter for the world to see.
I totally agree about saving the steel and aluminum industries. VERY important to national security. If we end up at war with China or Russia, I doubt they will be willing to sell us the steel they've been dumping on our markets so we can build warships, missiles, rifles, tanks and fighter jets. But he did not target the abusers (if he does as he said he will do) with the tariffs, but kind of pulled an Obama by punishing friends like Canada (assuming they are not being used a pass through point for Chinese steel) for something others have done. I am not certain these tariffs are what he really wants anyway. I am hoping this was an opening salvo to make others rethink taking advantage of us, because we consume more than any other nation on the planet.
I wonder if he could have solved the same issue if he said all businesses that do business with the federal government must use some percentage of US steel in their production, and by including a 100% US steel requirement in any infrastructure project where the federal government is paying part of the bill.
She was a smart, honest and dedicated communications director. A molehill in a general sense, but she will be missed. It's just good to have people you can trust around you. Of course the dim tribes will say she is leaving because Trump berated her (which he likely did not, but in their fantasy world they cannot get Trump out of their heads).
You'll get no argument with me about Obama and Hillary. They are both narcissistic self promoters that cannot see what is in the best interest of America. Obama wanted to remake the country in his image (and all the worshippers followed dutifully) and Hillary is a deviant and evil person that thought she was entitled to everything because it was "her turn". Good riddance to both of them.
Anyone hear from Guisslap? Is he OK?

Trump has captured the big labor unions' support. He got a lot of the individual members' vote in 2016, but now the union leadership has gotten on board. It's mostly symbolic because labor unions no longer hold any real clout, but this is used to be one of the special interest groups the 'craps could always count on on election day. Not anymore.
Trump kind of snubbed the NRA, now he picks up big labor as a supporter. Does this mean he's really not a Republican? Bingo! Which is what many of us have been saying for a couple of years now. He's not Republican, he's definitely not a 'crap, he's not conservative, he's not liberal, he's.....Trump. He is actually a lot like MOST of us, most of us REAL Americans. That means you NEVER, not EVER, simply follow any party line. We take it all...issue by issue...and, using conventional definitions, sometimes take a "conservative" view and sometimes a "liberal" view.
Now, that does not mean a person can't still lean one way or the other, generally. It does mean we don't wait for our marching orders from so-called party leaders. This is why Trump won....more and more Americans (voters) are leaving both parties and calling themselves independents. It's also the reason Trump will easily win the (R) nomination and then easily crush whoever the (D) puts up in 2020. The two major parties are in denial and still don't get it.
He doesn’t align perfectly with either party because at his core is a fascist.
It would be nice to have a president that is capable of forming a coherent thought again.
I have begun really looking forward to your posts, goosey. You make me laugh. I now believe you are not really as stupid as you act. I think you are just posting stupid stuff to stir the pot on this board. Keep it up! Every village needs an idiot, and you are ours.
No matter what name you call him, even you must know that President Trump couldn't possibly screw this country up any worse than the DC establishment already has. Damn man, aren't you ready to see what an administration that is independent of that establishment might actually accomplish?
