Not all of them. Several just HOPE Trump/US continue to support Ukraine. These are also the ones that rip Europe a new one for not leading the way on supporting Ukraine and a couple of them harp on the hypocrisy of many European nations BUYING PUTIN O&G!!!

Truthfully, I unsubscribed from Dennis Davyov's site because all he did was bash Trump. His is an accurate channel on what is actually happening, but I grew tired of his whining. And I told him so on his blog. He politely responded, but I dumped his site anyway.

The Kraken Regiment

Another of the elite units fighting for Ukraine. Yes, their battle cry is "Release the Kraken!" This unit began as a company formed in the ruins of Bucha, the town where hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, were brutally murdered back in 2022. Most recent information reports the death toll in the evil massacre has risen to 1,400 as more mass graves have been discovered.

The original members of the company are professional soccer and rugby players, plus others who are young and physically fit. It is a requirement to pass very tough physical tests before a man is allowed to join the unit. A former officer of the Azov Battalion agreed to serve in the same capacity in the Kraken unit after he learned some of his family members were amongst the murder victims. He is Major Nemichov, and serves as one of three infantry battalion commanders in the regiment. When the unit grew to regimental strength he was offered command, with a promotion to colonel. But he declined preferring to stay with the men in his battalion. The unit began as a company, strength 120 men. Then became a battalion, strength 430 men, and is now a full regiment, strength 1,800 men. It is composed of three infantry battalions of about 450 men each, a drone company, an armor battalion, with all Soviet equipment, T-72 tanks and BMP3s, mostly, and a light artillery battalion, using mortars and 105mm howitzers. There is a logistics company and a HQ company.

The Kraken Regiment is an elite unit, well-trained, well-led and highly motivated. It remains independent and is not under the authority of Kyiv or any other Ukrainian military or civilian authority. The unit does fully cooperate with other Ukrainian units.

Ukraine continues a measured advance in Belgorod, seizing three more villages yesterday and advancing another 6 miles along two vectors.

Ukraine is still holding ground in Kursk too. It's about 40% of the ground Ukraine once held in Kursk, but all the BS about Russia kicking out "the invaders" is just more lies from the bad guys.

And in more good news, the air war has been switching a lot lately. It is not fair to say Ukraine has turned the tables, but it is true they have been holding their own recently, enjoying some success in the aerial battle, which represents a change. Ukraine needs more F-16s. The ones they have are doing great, but Ukraine is cautious about using them. And recently Ukraine has enjoyed success with their old Mig-29s. Those jets have been updated, as best as they can be, and are now a viable force in this war.

More destruction of Putin's infrastructure overnight, the latest being another air base, ammo dumps, and a chemical plant. Meanwhile, Putin just continues his terrorist attacks against civilian targets in Ukraine.

Just watched interviews with volunteers in Ukraine's Foreign Defense Legion, soldiers from all over the world. One fellow from Columbia was interesting, said he has been a professional soldier in Columbia, a sergeant, guarding his country's border mostly against international drug traffickers. Usually assigned to remote outposts, in the jungle. Which probably explains this comment he made, says he first learned about the war in Ukraine in February, 2024. That's a full TWO YEARS into the war! He resigned from the Columbian army and traveled to Ukraine in March, 2024.

Latest confirmed numbers place the number of dead Russians at 800,000+.

Poland has just leap-frogged Turkey into having the 2nd largest military in NATO. The US is still the largest provided we remain in NATO. Poland now has 80,000 military vehicles of various types: tanks, APCs, mobile artillery, supply trucks, humvees, etc. Poland continues to fortify its border with Russia and with Belarus, which remains a Putin ally.

Four Chinese soldiers killed, two captured fighting for Russia. China released a statement disavowing anything to do with those clowns being there. Says they are mercenaries and traveled to Russia on their own. Wow, have to admit I did not think Chinese people had that kind of freedom. Good for them. But, they should learn to make better decisions with that freedom.

Estonia stopped, boarded, and impounded one of Putin's "ghost" ships. Good show! The vessel was ordered to halt for an inspection and instead it tried to speed away, at a whopping 12 knots. Estonian coast guard officers helicoptered to the ship, landed and boarded it. Their suspicions were confirmed upon inspection of the ship's manifest and its cargo (oil). A Putin oil tanker, operating without proper registration, documents, authority and not flying a flag of any nation. All violations of international trade laws.

Germany seized two such Putin "ghost" ships, Estonia has one, and several other nations around the world have also. But it is said Putin has many dozens of these ships, operating illegally, and sneaking his oil into the world markets. All of these ships need to be seized, the crews arrested, charged with piracy, given a fair trial, and then hung as a warning to others who would seek to do Putin's bidding.

A huge Putin oil refinery blew up last night. This one located in the far east, a long way from Ukraine. So far, no confirmed reports on the cause. It could have been a simple industrial accident, very possible, or sabotage by anti-Putin partisans sick of that asshole. Whatever the cause it's another blow to Putin. His number one revenue source is his oil and gas he sells (often illegally) onto the world market. In this case it appears Ukraine had nothing to do with this big kaboom! but they have reason to celebrate it.

Four European countries have pledged to send a total of 80 F-16s to Ukraine. Belgium has the largest number, with 30, but they are waiting on the US to deliver the promised, and paid for, F-35s. Belgium presently depends on the F-16s for defense and can't release them until they have the F-35s. Not sure what the delay is, but the Belgium defense minister just said their F-16s, together with spare parts, are ready to be transferred to Ukraine. Again, the US has not sent even one F-16 to Ukraine.

What has the US sent to Ukraine? Well, 31 Abram tanks, and 186 Bradleys make up the total of armored vehicles. The US sent 16 HIMARS missile launchers, 142 howitzers, combination of 105mm and 155mm, about 10,000 Javelin and Stinger rockets, and a variety of other pieces of equipment, such as 15 recon drones which the Ukrainians have long since rendered obsolete with their own recon drones. One source, a British think tank, reported recently that the US has not provided $350 billion in aid, a figure widely reported and repeated by Trump. Best estimates place the grand total of US aid will reach $270 billion if the current list of promised aid is completed this summer. This is still more than Europe's total contribution of $150 billion, according to this source. These figures are as of March 31, 2025. $270 billion is nearly twice as much as $150 billion so the case that Europe needs to do more is certainly valid.

The "Wizards of Oz" crushed a Russian advance east of the city of Stepove. Another success for the 3rd Assault Brigade.

Rumors are mounting, from numerous sources, about a last-ditch desperate act of aggression by Putin. Being called the "Russian Summer Offensive" this will be Putin's "Battle of the Bulge" which everyone knows was a stupid gamble by Hitler, but it did shorten the war in Europe by at least six months. Reports that Putin has ordered another conscription, hoping to raise another 160,000 troops. The "recruiting" has begun in earnest, but many young Russian men are leaving their hometowns to try to avoid being drafted. If successful, or whatever level of success Putin manages, these conscripts will be rushed through the very basic of basic training and sent to the front as more cannon fodder.

One source says this summer offensive is actually already underway with preliminary moves being made in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast (called "Zaporia" by western sources). Russian special forces have been probing Ukraine's defense lines in that region, and six Russian paratroopers were captured by Ukrainian local militia and police about 15 miles behind Ukrainian lines in Zaporia. When interrogated these paratroopers said they were sent to map bridges and the locations of various Ukrainian units. Two days ago, a reinforced Russian infantry company suddenly stormed an advance Ukrainian picket post, over-running it. They later retired when faced with Ukran reinforcements. All this activity in conjunction with the buildup of Russian supplies near Zaporia points to this being the sector Putin plans as his summer offensive. One pundit cautioned, however, that some of the same things are occurring near Sumy Oblast, so one is probably a diversion, the other the real one...but which is which?

Ya gotta love it! Well, not PawDawg, he is rooting for the Putinites. But for the rest of us on the side of goodness, wow!

First, how did the Ukrainians learn about the only fiber optic factory in Russia? Not from any form of "intelligence," nope! They saw a post on X from a German fellow who posted a photo of the plant in Saransk, Russia, some 5,500 miles from Ukraine. This guy mentioned he worked for a company that bought fiber optic cable (wire) from this plant. Bingo! Three drone attacks later the plant is no more. Unfortunately, Russia has been buying Chinese fiber optic cable and now will just buy more. China produces 75% of the world's fiber optic cable.

Now, the biggie. Seems Russia has been celebrating the failure of Ukrainian drones. In the past month+ some of the Ukran drones just quit working and landed harmlessly where eager Russian soldiers scooped them up, as they were being paid a bounty for every drone or part of a Ukran drone they could find and turn in. Then even eagerer Russian engineers quickly began reverse engineering them and....[drum roll, please]...downloading the software from these Ukran drones into their computer system, into their drones, etc. Bet you smart folks have already figured out what happened (one of you explain it to PawDawg). LOL!

Absolutely! The whole world agrees too.

A good Russian commander, General Popov, leader of one of Russia's "elite" paratrooper divisions, was arrested on orders by Putin (PawDawg's hero) and charged with treason after Popov refused to follow stupid orders which would have placed his troops in harm's way...really gotten them slaughtered. In exchange to avoiding life in prison or maybe the firing squad, Popov has agreed to "take up the sword" (literally) and take command of one of Putin's cannon fodder units, referred to as "Force Z." His new command of misfits, malcontents, lowlifes, many released from prison in exchange for service for Putin, will be ordered to make suicide charges with General Popov out front waving his sword. This way Popov, according to Kremlin sources, will be able to salvage his reputation, dying gloriously on the battlefield fighting for Mother Russia.

Hopefully, instead of dying, Popov can survive, be taken prisoner by the Ukrainians, then he can switch sides and fight for the good guys.

Putin murdered more civilians, attacking a church on Palm Sunday. What a piece of shit! I am so glad I am on the right side of this matter. All you Putin lovers will rot in hell, right alongside of Putin and Hitler, and other mass murderers.
